Wedding at Browsholme Hall & Tithe Barn, Clitheroe
Well what a wedding it was yesterday at this fabulous wedding venue Browsholme Hall in Clitheroe, Lancashire. Unfortunately the weather was not on the Bride & Groom’s side but there were a few dry, pleasant spells during the afternoon. I guess it doesn’t matter too much as most of the time you are indoors on your wedding enjoying the lovely venue itself, your family and friends, a fantastic first meal together as husband and wife or dancing the night away with the evening singing/entertainment and disco.
Firstly, arriving at the venue I set up the White Baby Grand Piano in the wonderful barn conversion (below) and they really went to town on this wedding. Beautiful flowers and venue dressing by I felt my piano complimented the scene perfectly.
Then it was time to move the piano over to the other side of the room ready for the wedding breakfast.
Then it was time to take the Piano away and load in for the evening reception. Only managed to get a couple of pics here. First dance was L.O.V.E. by Nat King Cole. Lovely song. I was surprised that this young couple liked this song and wanted it for their first dance because it is obviously quite old, but it just goes to show people of all ages like all genres of music weather it be old or new.
I must say, what a fantastic, lovely couple these were. The new Mr & Mrs Taylor and their beautiful daughter Sophie. They saw me perform at the National Wedding Show in Manchester in 2015 and booked me there and then! I enjoyed this wedding so much, it was such a pleasure to be part of their day. I also want to mention that the staff at Browsholme Hall: Kelsey & Rebecca and all the team were also brilliant and really looked after me as a wedding supplier. They want the best, and it really shows in their attention to detail.
All the very best for the future.
