Highley Manor Wedding

Another great wedding on the outskirts of London. Being a wedding singer that covers the whole of the UK. London is a favorite of mine.

Started off singing during the wedding breakfast as guests arrived and took their seats. The bride and groom loved take that, and any classics that everyone would know, like ‘wonderful world’ by Louis Armstrong, ‘Have I told you lately’ by Rod Stewart and so on. During the 2nd spot of the wedding breakfast people were relaxing a bit more and singing along so that was great.

Then it was time to turn the room around for the evening celebrations which meant i had to dismantle the piano and set up my white stage and lighting.

The first dance was ‘A Thousand Years’ by Cristina Perri. Beautiful song which i love love love singing. Then Nicky had a dance with her dad and I sung ‘Dance with my father’ by Luther Van Dross. Then the party started. Great crowd, and up for a good time.

I still can’t believe that the groom (James) looked the same at the end of the night as he did at the start of the day! Now us fellas should take note because normally by the end of the night it can all go to pot! So he’s putting me to shame here as I’m the one thats taken the tie off and made myself comfortable, ah well! And of course the bride looked lovely as well at the end of the night.

Thanks to the staff there at Highey Manor who were very accommodating and lovely. Also to the photographer Victoria Lamburn who was great, can’t wait to see the shots.
